extra reminders
*Be happy with what you have and cannot have, haha. Remind yourself that you're one lucky child that even if you can't have the things you want, you still have my family - they're more important than anything and anyone else in this world. You should realize than you are blessed to have a complete, loving, happy family.
*Life is too fast to spend time envying others, being lonely and pathetic, and comparing myself with others.
*Share your blessings with others....pioneer radical change.
*Let go and keep moving forward because even if it hurts, there's still beauty in it.
*Stop being materialistic and greedy.
*Be humble but learn how to fight and to say no.
*Stop being so emotional. Stop crying...too much of it is bad.
*Live the present moment otherwise we suffer... life passes us without experiencing it and when we look back, we realize there's nothing really to remember.

Last Salu-salo

When we were in second year my friends and I started this whole thing about someone bringing food every other day. It was fun! coz the food was always yummy and it was for free haha. But we stopped when we were in third year because...wala lang. So, last monday we decided to have our last salu-salo! yehey! Cea brought brownies, I brought ice and utensils :), bernice - drinks, soph - cake, nicole and alex- lasagna, anna mars - bbq, and dana- liempo. grabe, busog kaming lahat. :)

Our salu-salo was more than just the food. It was the thing that brought us together and it was an opportunity to strengthen our bond with each other.

AC with you guys is home. Thanks for always being there for me and for making my life more colorful and fun!

Pioneer Radical Change

Pioneer Radical Change

Close your eyes
Look back and relive
All our firsts and adventures

Can’t you see
That we’ve made
This world so much better?

Gone through the motions
Living as a passer by
Until we spread our wings and teach the world to fly

It will all fit together
Don’t be scared to make that change
There’s a chance that we might fall
But we'll take a leap of faith

Chorus:
But for now won't you hold on me
Be the change that we want to see
As cliché as this line might be
Our dreams will be reality

Counterpoint:
But for now won't you hold on me // No distance will break us apart
Be the change that we want to see // It’s not the end it's just the start
As cliché as this line might be // The universe is ours to take
Our dreams will be reality // Still together in the change we make

No distance will break us apart
It's not the end it's just the start
The universe is ours to take
Still together in the change we make (prolong “make”)
(In the change we make)

Instrumental

We’ll never settle for the least we could achieve
The fear is there
But we don't care

The universe is ours to take
Still together in the change we make

Grad practice is gonna kill me

ok, super fast post coz my sister is going to use the PC!
I really hate our grad practice. It's really hot in the chapel and they make us repeat everything. I mean, they can't expect us to be perfect, they can't expect us to sit down all at the same time....I'm really annoyed. What's more irritating is the fact that it says in the circular that our dismissal is 12pm...do they dismiss us at 12? NOOOO! they dismiss us at 12:20pm, which is really unfair. That's beyond extension...kung 5 minutes ok lang ehh, pero hindi! 20 minutes?!
I was really pissed off in the chapel a while ago and i was about to cry. One of our CAs even told us that "girls, we're gonna practice assumpta est on monday since it's already time" HELLLO! it's 12:20..you think?! duhh! Kaasar. I felt really bad 'coz i was already shouting the songs and I know that it's not the proper way to behave in the chapel but i just really couldn't take it. arghhh!

Happy birthday Nicole | Laser Tag

We went to market market to play laser tag. It was supposed to be a surprise for Nicole. She was blindfolded the whole time like even during our lunch at Sbarro :)). It was so funny, coz we had this game wherein one of us will hold her pizza and in order for her to eat, she has to find the food using her mouth! , aww cutipie :P *sniff sniff*.

So, we played laser tag. It was my first time and I totally sucked. I was like the loserest of them all! After the game they gave this paper with our rankings and oh my god, I wanna burn it. Here's the result. This is from Missy's blog, sorry I'm so lazy to scan.

Can You Keep A Secret?

I haven't been reading books. The last book I've read was Thirteen moons which is not really interesting because the way it was written was so overwhelming and when i say overwhelming it only means one thing - I did not understand anything. So, I didn't finish it. In fact, I've only read 'til page 7. haha.

Last Wednesday I saw one of my friends reading Sophie Kinsella's Can You Keep A Secret. I've never read any of Her books even the Shopaholic series. I asked my friend if it's a nice book and she told me that it is and it's a funny book. I read the first two pages... and I fell in love with it. I just finished the book a while ago and I love everything about it. I love the way how Sophie Kinsella wrote the book. It's very easy to understand and this is the first book that made me cry and laugh at the same time. A book should give its readers happiness and should save them from boredom - this book did! I literally couldn't put the book down. I was laughing the whole time. Nicole and alex are my witnesses. I was laughing out loud the whole time, no joke! This book is like oh-my-Gosh-amazing! I can read it all over again. It's really good especially if you're the type of person who doesn't like 'my-brain-is-gonna-explode-because-it's-so-hard-to-understand-and-the-words-are-so-deep' books.

The books is basically about Emma who spills all her secrets to a stranger on a plane because she thought she was going to die. She told him everything - boyfriend, bestfriend, and even her sex life. So you can just imagine how embarrassed she was when she found out that she wasn't going to die. But she was relieved that she will never see this stranger again.

Guess what?!
She sees him again at work...and to make the problem worse, he's the owner of the company she works for. Oh my....

I love Sophie Kinsella! I'm going to buy all her books. I'm going to finish all of them this week! I promise! well, not really but I must read them!!!! haha.
